In 2019 Xcel energy converted “line space” into a Pollinator wildflower preserve. In 2020 this was available to our club to create a “Community Apiary”. This location is available to our club members for only $20/yr. This location is for those who are unsure if this is a hobby for them, don’t want deal with city ordinances or are just worried about their own location and still want to keep bees. We currently have 14 plots available for beekeepers to utilize.
Options Available
We offer several options for those interested in the apiary, from keeping your own bees all the way to sponsoring a hive for others and many points in between. A brochure with details may be found here.
